TRAI did the recommendation
The Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRAI) had given this advice in October, taking the Internet telephony. Recommended new connectivity to eliminate call drop problem. The purpose behind this is to remove the problem of increasing call drop and bad network in the country.

Telecom Commission
The Inter Ministerial Telecom Commission has approved the proposal. After this, Reliance Jio, BSNL, Airtel and other operators will be able to start this service. TRAI Advisor Arvind Kumar says that new connectivity services will benefit consumers. This will give customers more options. Especially in areas where the service quality problem remains. Most of them include multistory buildings or a house where the telecom signal remains poor, but wifi service is good.

Internet telephony will run through the app
An official, who provides full information about the process, said that in order to use internet telegraph facility, customers have to download an app. This app will be provided through operators. Each operator can also have separate apps. In addition, a 10 digit number will also be issued. This number will be like everyone's mobile number. As an example, if you also use Airtel's SIM, then Geo will get a separate number for the internet telephone application. This number and the app can be used via broadband.

Do not change the number
However, if you use a company's SIM and then use the operator's app then you should not change the number. You can use your current number. Telecom Regulator TRAI has emphasized on Internet calling because of the inexpensive service for voice calls. This will remove the problem of call drop. Get rid of bad network too.
