Do you know this important thing about your household’s LPG cylinder?

Do you know this important thing about your household’s LPG cylinder?

Have an expiry date of 1/6 gas bottles?
The cylinder does not have expiry date. About the expiry date, wrong information is provided on the Internet. LPG cylinders are very safe, they do not need to be afraid.

What is the meaning of the figure written on the 2/6 bottle?
You have seen, the cylinder has a black alphabet and number, which shows its date of birth. For example, A means that the coming months in the first quarter of the year – January, February, March. B means – April, May and June. C means – July, August, September. When D stands for the coming months in the last quarter of the year – October, November and December.

For example 3/6 …
This shows the test date debt of the capital alphabet and number cylinder. For example, if the D24 is written on the cylinder, it means its Due date is December 2024.The cylinder is tested again after December 2024, and it is seen whether it is fit to use it later.

4/6 No cylinders are full
No cylinder is full (100%) full. The cylinder is slightly empty from above. In any cylinder, 85 percent gas is filled, while 15 percent of its part is empty. In this part, the gas comes from the LPG material and the gas reaches the regulator.

5/6 Never do this …
Often, when the cylinder is completed, people try to turn the gas stove on it horizontally. They think that by doing this, the gas below will come upwards, but this does not happen at all. Doing so can be lethal.

6/6 gas has no odor, but …
There is a different odor of gas leaking, but LPG does not have any odor on its own. In LPG there is an alchemist chemical called Ethyl Mar captain, which can be known about leakage due to its smell.
