Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah has clarified that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will contest from Varanasi in the 2019 general elections. On the question asked in this context, Shah said that he is not the only question of contesting from any other constituency. On the question of the SP-BSP coalition, Shah said that I know UP. There is nothing to happen here. BJP will again win with a massive majority.

In an interview given to a channel, Amit Shah said that when we won 73 of the Lok Sabha and 325 seats in the Assembly in UP, people were saying that this can not happen.
