How To Check Voter List
With digitisation, the Election Commission of India has begun the process of digitising the electoral rolls based on constituency. Voter list searches are now web-enabled, making it easier for electoral officers as well as individual voters to check if their names have been included on the voter’s list for the constituency they fall under.

All records concerning the electoral rolls are now available online, making it easier for individuals to locate their name in the electoral roll or check if their name has been updated in the rolls in the case of new voters.

Voters can log on to the National Voter’s Service Portal (NVSP) and check for details regarding the inclusion of their name in the voter’s list.

The NVSP has made a provision for individuals to check if their names have been included in three ways, as detailed below:

Search by EPIC/Voter ID in Election Voter List -
This search option allows individuals who have registered for an EPIC/voter ID card to check for their name in the electoral roll by entering their voter ID card number. If the card is logged in the database, the individual’s particulars will be displayed on screen.

Search Name in Voter List -
Individuals can also choose to locate their name in the voter’s list by searching using their name. This could be a bit difficult, though, as the individual has to ensure that the name as mentioned in the voter ID card is entered in the search. This includes any abbreviations or the maiden name, if the same has not been updated in the electoral records. On entering the name, a list of all eligible voters with that name in the district and constituency will be displayed on screen.

Search your name in Electoral Roll by area/locality -
This search can be done if an individual wishes to check if their name is included in the voter list for a particular area or constituency. This is particularly useful for those who have applied for a change of address in their Voter ID Card. The individual will have to select the district and locality as mentioned in the drop-down menu, after which a list of all eligible voters currently on the rolls will be displayed. The individual can then look through to list to locate his/her name.

Individuals who wish to check if their names have been included in the voter’s list or those who wish to check any details pertaining to their Voter ID card can do so by following the steps outlined below:

In fact, BLO is a representative of Election Commission of India (ECI) at the grass-root level who plays a pivotal role in the process of roll revision and collecting actual field information with regard to the roll corresponding to the polling area assigned to him.

Under Section 13B (2) of Representation of People Act, 1950, BLOs are appointed from amongst the officers of the Govt. /Semi Govt. /Local Bodies. Generally, one BLO is responsible for one part of the electoral roll. From August, 2006 the Commission has decided to introduce the concept of appointing BLOs who would be accountable for ensuring the fidelity of electoral roll.+

The ECI introduced this new system of appointing BLOs creating a clear line of accountability for preparation of an error-free electoral roll, making the BLOs its custodian at the polling booth level. Previously, voter-identification slips used to be distributed by the contesting candidates of various political parties and that gave scope for complaints. The preparation of accurate electoral rolls and direct distribution of voter identification slip by the BLOs also boosted voter confidence in the credibility of the election process.

BLO assists eligible citizens to become voters and obtain voter card. Ahmedabad: For the past decade in Gujarat, the government has done many programs and campaigns to improve the level of school education. Even after not changing the level of education, the state education department has released a fatwa of the program titled 'Mission Vidya', and the state's Chief Minister, including ministers and legislators, and BJP office bearers have formulated a program for inspection of schools. The government will again go to schools in the new program of Mission Vidya in the education department. For which the Education Minister has given orders to start schools one hour early in the program for the Sixth and Sixth standard. Against this, the anger of teachers, parents and students has spread.
The campaign will last for a month
For students, who are relatively poor in Reading, Mathematics and Writing, especially for students studying in standard 6-7-8, starting from July 26, 'Mission Vidya' will be started for one consecutive month.
Apart from this, during the campaign, students will be constantly monitored during the education process, and relatively weak students will be made equivalent to other students.

Mission Vidya" will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani who will be going to school
Ministers and high officials will monitor
"Mission Vidyarthi" will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, who will be going to the school, along with the Deputy Chief Minister in the entire state, all the ministers and high officials of different departments will go to school allotted to students of standard 6 to 8 reading, computing and writing. . Following the campaign for one month, third party evolution will also be done.
